Description: This Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is a composite image produced by merging hi-resolution processed LiDAR data where available, together with Burnett Catchment and Southern Queensland regional DEM's acquired from the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DERM). For the Bundaberg, Capricorn, Gladstone, Fraser Coast and Coringa areas surveyed using LiDAR, the horizontal accuracy level is 1.0 metre (the ground sample distance) and the average vertical accuracy is 0.1 metre. For the remaining areas, the DERM models have been resampled from thier original original accuracy levels of 25.0 metre to the 4.0 metre level to create a seamless terrain. The original average accuracy of AUSLIG's 1:100000 source data for the DERM models are + or - 25.0 metres in the horizontal position of well defined detail and + or - 5.0 metres in elevation for most mapsheet areas.
