Description: Updated in November 2013 to include additional floor heights and their confidence levels.Schlencker Mapping was engaged by Bundaberg Regional Council during 2013 to undertake new Mobile Laser Scanning (MLS) and imagery capture throughout areas of Bundaberg, Gin Gin and Burnett Heads. Capture was used for the extraction of floor heights and other information from selected buildings in these areas.Dates of capture:North Bundaberg: May 07 to May 10, May 20 and August 12 2013South Bundaberg: May 09 to 10, May 20 to 22, August 12 and August 27 2013Gin Gin: August 10 and August 28 2013Burnett Heads: May 07 2013Schlencker applied a confidence level, plus notes, to all captured floor levels to indicate the degree of certainty of the measured level. The levels used were:1 - A high expected floor level accuracy. No obstructions were present and thebase of the door could be clearly seen.2 - A minor obstruction was present around the base of the door or the door wasset back and a reduced number of points were available for locating theposition. In general, measured levels should meet accuracy requirements.3 - The base of the door was not visible. In these cases, a patio level was capturedas close to the door as possible. Additional height may need to be addedparticularly for brick slab buildings to achieve the final floor level.4 - The base of the door was not visible and no suitable patio level could bemeasured. These locations were measured either at the top of the door or atthe building eave level. Additional calculations will be required to obtain theactual building floor level. For confidence level 4, assumed floor levels have been re-calculated by BRC using a factor of -2.1m for top of door and -2.4m for top of eave, where appropriate.Where null values were returned, an assumed floor level was estimated using a combination of notes and reference to images supplied with the project.Full project report at S:\Projects\2013\46128 - Mobile Scanning Floor Levels\Doco\Bundaberg & Gin Gin Floor Levels - Project Report - revised.pdfConfidence level 1 assigned to all floor heights where footprints were previously obtained by fieldsurvey methods.Updated 20160707 to include Schlencker Mobile LiDAR 2016 survey results for coastal properties likely to be impacted by Storm Surge.Confidence levels as per 2013 survey.Full project report and raw data at \\bundaberg.qld.gov.au\shares\GIS\ProjectDataReceived\Studies-Reports from Consultants\Schlencker Mobile LiDAR 2016.Updated 20170116 to include CBD footprints sourced from OpenStreeMap website data download.Mean Building Heights (mAHD) for these footprints calculated using Bundaberg 2011 .las filesTags updated/reclassified, Sources updated/reclassified, Localities added.Updated 20170321 to include mean Mean Building Ground Heights (mAHD) and Mean Actual Building heights (m) for CBD footprints sourced from OpenStreeMap.Updated 20170510 to include appended Floor Level Height info for CBD area Openstreemap footprints using source data at \\bundaberg.qld.gov.au\shares\GIS\ProjectDataReceived\Studies-Reports from Consultants\Schlencker Mobile LiDAR CBD 2017.
